Greetings, Earthlings. This Friday night at the Kazimier it’s time for "Psycho Motel
XIII: The Dutch Space Rock Invasion" at the Kazimier, so put a rocket in your pocket, wrap yourself
in tinfoil, and hitch a UFO down to the Curious Orange on Renshaw St. to get one
of them sweet £4 tickets (it’s £6 on the door, the crazy saving speaks for
itself)...
For the first time in the UK we have SANTA CRUZ – Den Haag’s
loudest, most acid-damaged, least stoppable spacerockers with their endlessly epic cosmic ritual and policy of 'no normal songs' beware, for they are so loud you could literally hear them in outer space, where science tells us sound cannot travel! Science is wrong. It's Santa Cruz, gang...
...but before that, we’ve got the surf-tastic 2 piece,
BEACH SKULLS with some of their excellent twangy experiments…
…then
it’s time for the mysterious galactic supergroup, STOCK FOOTAGE (starring folks
from The International, El Toro!, After the Massacre, Horse Bastard, Noise Club
and Freddy’s Nightmares) performing a one-off psychedelic rock composition that
will blow your mind and do your head in!
Plus we’ve got the return of THE BRUTES! Classic garage
powered punk, straight outta Glasgow. You may have seen ‘em at the Go Go Cage,
or at Useless many moons ago, and noticed that they ruled. They still rule to this
day…
…and as a smashing bonus feature, Zombina from Zombina andthe Skeletones will be joining the Psycho Motel DJs, to spin her favourite
spaceage robo-records.
Oh, and we have lift off!!!
P.S. Thanks to everyone who came to see Legendary Shack Shakers
at the Hoe Down. That was pretty much the greatest thing we’ve ever been
involved in. We may have to do it again next year ;)
More of this please :)
